We’re less than a week away from real NFL football action. Preseason finishes up on August 31 and the first regular season game will kick off on September 7th with the Patriots hosting the Chiefs. Today, we’re going over the NFC East, which seems to be one of the most competitive in football.

Odds Analysis
The Giants are the favorite to win the division, at least at BetOnline. They’re coming off an 11-5 season and will have another year in head coach, Ben McAdoo’s system. Defensively, they have been fantastic, but Eli Manning needs to step up his game to take new York to an elite level. They’re a better bet at Bovada at +190 compared to +160 at BetOnline.
Dallas is coming off a hard loss to green Bay in last year’s playoffs. Dak Prescott and the infraction done well, but Rodgers simply wouldn’t be stopped. With Elliot out with a suspension, the Cowboys still have their sights set on a title this season. They’re +185 at BetOnline but a slightly better value at Bovada at +190.
The Eagles started the year off with a bang but faltered due to injuries and growing pains for rookie, Carson Wentz. Their secondary was also a major area of weakness. There are a lot of appealing teams on this list. Offensively, there probably isn’t a division in football that can compare to the NFC East. Each of these teams will light it up on offense. It’s defensively where they struggle, and one team has a much better defense than the rest of the division.
That’s the new York Giants. Their defense is far and away the best in the division. They also have an exceptional secondary, one that can match the other top receivers in the division. Eli Manning is the primary thing holding them back – he was dreadful last season.
However, Manning gets another year with McAdoo fully in charge, and he has a lot more weapons. Sterling Sheperd is in his second year. They added Brandon Marshall in the offseason. Evan Engram looks to be an elite talent at tight end.
They’re loaded up. Manning just needs to have an above average season (not elite), and the Giants stand to take this division down Camiseta Selección de fútbol de Corea del Sur easily. I love the value at +190.
